Joe Embleton is starting his first season as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Garrett College, under Head Coach David Wingate. Embleton is a 2023 graduate of Messiah University, placing twice in the NCAA D3 Southeast Regional Tournament and earned the title of All-American  Scholar Athlete while competing at 197, under Coach Bryan Brunk. Embleton earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting during his time at Messiah University.

At Southern Garrett High School, Under Coach Dave Taylor, Embleton was a 4 year varsity starter with 127 varsity wins. He is a two time state place winner, placing 5th and 2nd, along with being a Starter on the team that won the 2018 Maryland State Championship. Joe also represented team Maryland multiple times competing at the AAU Junior Olympics and Disney Duals.

Before taking this role at Garrett College, Embleton volunteered at numerous wrestling programs, coaching youth through high school level.
