JT Lewis began his coaching career at Garrett College in 2016 as the Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball. In 2017, he became the Head Coach for Women’s Basketball at Garrett. He also served as the Head Coach of the Men’s Golf Team and as the Head Coach of the Women’s Volleyball Team.

JT is a Morgantown, West Virginia native and a graduate of Morgantown High School where he was a player on both the football and men’s basketball teams. He continued as a student athlete after high school while attending Garrett College as a member of the men’s basketball team for two years and one year as a player on the men’s basketball team at Glenville State College.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University with areas of emphasis in Communications, Sociology and Sports Psychology.
