The Garrett College Lady Lakers defeated the Allegany College of Maryland Lady Trojans last night, by a score of 105-38. The Lady Lakers improve their record to 3-0 overall, 1-0 in the MDJUCO, and 1-0 in DII Region XX. 

The Ladies had 4 Lakers score in double digits. Hannah Henderson led the Lady Lakers in scoring and rebounding with 30points, and 18 rebounds. Chaunte McDowell added 25 points and 7 assists, while Taylor Ferguson put up 22 points. LeAsia Pennant helped dominate the boards pulling in 14 rebounds, and Nicole Pysell dished out 6 assists. 

The Lady Lakers are back in action on Saturday, Noevember 19, 2016 for an MDJUCO matchup against the Anne Arundel Lady Riverhawks. Tip off is 1pm at Anne Arundel Community College.
