MCHENRY, MD – The Lady Lakers defeated Westmoreland on Sunday, April 15, 2018 by a score of 7-5. The Wolfpack came out strong in the first inning scoring 3 runs. The Lady Lakers responded with a strong third inning scoring 5 of their 7 runs.

Freshman, Casie Wright, was the winning pitcher. She helped herself by driving in a pair of RBI's on a double. It was a full team effort. Madison Rush and Alexis Sneed led the Lady Lakers with 2 hits each, Sneed with 2 doubles, and Rush adding one double. Sophomore, Nicole Pysell, hit a triple. Sophomore, Skylar Ferguson, also added an RBI. Freshmen, Nyasia Jones, and Lauryn Moon reached first base twice each on walks. Freshman, Katelyn Tasker, had a sacrifice hit, and Danielle Collins added a single. 

The Lady Lakers will play next in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament.
