The Garrett College cross country teams closed out their season on Saturday competing at the MDJUCO/NJCAA Region XX championships. Six colleges sent representatives to the meet, hosted by Hagerstown CC.

Running in the first race of the day, first year, Ella Warnick claimed a fourth place overall finish clocking a time of 25:48.6 over the 5k course. Warnick's finish earned her a second place ranking in both the MDJUCO and Region XX standings, earning her All Region and MDJUCO honors. Westmoreland's Jennifer Dupree won the race with a time of 23:27.3.

First year runner Esdras Castillo completed his first season of competition by placing seventeenth, recording a time of 39:30.9 over the 8K course. Hagerstown's Iggy Chalker won the race in a time of 26:45.1. Hagerstown won the men's championship beating Harford CC by a score of 15-49.
